Description
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Figured Top electric guitar serves up vintage-inspired tone and looks. This solidbody stunner features a figured maple top on a mahogany back, just like the original. Its rounded '50s neck profile and trapezoid inlays evoke the era that shaped rock and roll. The Les Paul Standard '50s is ready to inspire you.
Burstbucker Pickups Provide Classic Gibson Voice
The Les Paul Standard '50s features calibrated Burstbucker 1 neck and Burstbucker 2 bridge pickups for authentic PAF-style tone. These Alnico II magnet pickups are wound to vintage specifications for rich, warm tone with singing sustain. Combined with handwired controls and Orange Drop capacitors, the Burstbuckers let you dial in a wealth of vintage-inspired sounds from bluesy warmth to all-out rock aggression.
Timeless Construction, Legendary Playability
With a mahogany body and maple top finished in glossy nitrocellulose lacquer, the Les Paul Standard '50s looks stunning and resonates fully. Its rounded mahogany neck has a comfortable medium profile that plays fast and feels like an old friend. 22 medium-jumbo frets make bending strings a breeze. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece anchor the strings securely while maintaining optimum resonance.
A Classic Reborn for Today's Player
While the Les Paul Standard '50s is a tribute to Gibson's Golden Era, it has modern reliability and playability. Its single-action truss rod lets you adjust neck relief with ease. Vintage Deluxe tuners keep it in tune through heavy use. A 1.695" nut provides ample room for complex chords and leads. This marriage of vintage vibe and contemporary dependability makes the Les Paul Standard '50s a perfect guitar for players of today exploring the sounds of yesterday.

I love this guitar. Great price and a great guitar. Only one problem I had when I received it was a buzzing sound which I thought would be easily fixed by just adjusting the truss rod and lowering the strings. Other than that I love the bluesy crisp sound and the sleek body design. Anyone who likes Slash will love this guitar.

I am an amateur guitarist who is still improving my playing. I am very pleased with the build, look, and tonal range of this guitar. The Epiphone pairs well with my other two electric guitars and the tone is unique.

Absolutely perfect in every way, the best sounding and looking guitar I've ever tried. Superb QC and build quality from Gibson.

This is my 3rd Les Paul since 1984. I decided I wanted a 50's Standard Gold Top and the neck on this one fit like a glove. And the pickups in this beast are amazing. Gibson QC still has issues but it almost makes each guitar unique lol. You can't beat the real thing.

I love this guitar. I had a 50's Epiphone Les Paul. Which was great. But it's a whole new level when you buy a Gibson. Nikes are nice but Jordan's just hit different….The same goes when you upgrade from Epiphone to Gibson.

I loved it right out of box. Beautiful wood and nicely made. Actually better than a custom shop I purchased in 2017. The fretboard needed cleaning and conditioning but otherwise it is perfect. Keep up the great work Gibson!
