Description
The Fender American Professional II Stratocaster HSS is the next evolution of an iconic classic. Blending vintage-style tone with contemporary playability, this Strat was made for today's guitarist. Featuring customized V-Mod II single-coil pickups and a DoubleTap humbucker, it pumps out a spectrum of articulate Fender sounds. A sculpted neck heel, rolled fingerboard edges and a satin neck finish provide premium comfort.
V-Mod II Pickups Provide Vintage Tone and Modern Clarity
At the heart of this Strat are a trio of customized V-Mod II single-coil pickups, designed to capture the tone of vintage pickups while reducing hum. The neck and middle pickups produce classic Strat chime with enhanced depth and clarity. The bridge humbucker features a revolutionary DoubleTap design that yields convincing single-coil tones as well as full humbucker punch.
DoubleTap Humbucker Delivers Maximum Versatility
The DoubleTap humbucker in the bridge position gives this HSS Strat maximum tonal versatility. In standard mode, it pumps out full, overdriven humbucker tone. Engage the Push-Push switch, and the humbucker's coil is split to produce a bright, articulate single-coil sound. This innovative design lets you move seamlessly between vintage Strat spank and modern high-gain grit without changing guitars.
Premium Playability and Components
Designed for performance, this Strat features a sculpted neck heel, rolled fingerboard edges and a satin neck finish for a fast, fluid playing feel. The "Deep C" neck profile fills your hand comfortably while facilitating complex chording and single-note runs. Narrow Tall frets make string bending and vibrato techniques effortless. A synchronized tremolo with cold-rolled steel block provides expressive playing options and enhanced sustain.
Road-Ready and Built to Last
As part of the American Professional II Series, this Strat is crafted with premium tonewoods and components, all backed by Fender's exceptional workmanship. It includes a lightweight alder body, maple neck and fingerboard, bone nut and Fender's deluxe molded case. Built for the stage and studio, it's a workhorse guitar that will inspire you for years to come.

The neck is fabulous. The overall craftsmanship is excellent. This instrument feels great and plays that way. I I have nothing to say but great things about this guitar. I would highly recommend this to any player at any level.

The neck feels so comfortable, likes it's already worn in & familiar. The pickups are flawless & so dynamic. Sustain on the instrument is phenomenal, tuning stability isn't a factor and the sound stays consistent with the volume/tone knob(s) all the the way or roles down. Just couldn't be happier with this guitar, all around.

Always disappointed with the tremolo (vibrato) bar on Strat's. US or MIM, even with the spring & ball they wobble and clunk like the threads were too big. This one clips in! Pickups sound great, and even the split coil bridge pickup sounds fantastic. Nice neck. Love the blue fade!

I bought the Miami Blue HSS and what a beautiful guitar! I did have issues with the craftsmanship as i saw a lot of swirl marks on that color. They sent me a replacement and it was a little worse. But overall i love this guitar and I will keep it forever!

It gladdens my heart to know that quality craftsmanship lives on in the United States of America. This instrument brings the latest incarnation of the 1954 classic. The feel is that of a quality and well-built art piece, very solid and balanced. The neck fits very nicely in the hand. As guitars go, this is one of the more versatile options, suitable for jazz, blues, rock, punk, gospel - anything you can think of. A cherished addition to our household.

When we opened the case to this beauty in the store I nearly cried. It's so pretty, sounds amazing, and I've waited a long time to buy an electric guitar, so this instrument is really special to me. I've been a musician most of my life and played acoustic for a while, but I am newbie to electrics. The 3-color sunburst is so beautiful, the action feels so good, and me and my son, both somewhat beginners, sound instantly better, lol. I know we could have spent less on a guitar, especially for new-ish guitar players, but there was just something about this one. I take care of my things, and I wanted a guitar that would be versatile for both me and my teenage son to play. I know I'll have this guitar a long time and look forward to learning more and growing as a musician with it. #sweepstakes

The guitar itself is top-notch. It's hard to go wrong with an American professional Stratocaster. I really like the HSS pick ups which allows for a little bit more dynamic range than your standard Stratocaster pick up arrangement.

This is the best guitar I have ever bought. I am very happy with it; it feels and plays great. And the guitar sales tech helped me exchange a guitar that was shipped with a dent in it that same day. I told him I would upgrade to an American-made one if I could find one. Gonno (hope I got your name right, my friend) was a big help; he even played it for me and checked it out because I had an injured arm. I could only play a bit that day. He picked me a smooth, great-sounding guitar.
